Hey everyone,
So today I was looking at random pictures of birds online, and was kind of inspired by the beak of a bird for a makeup look! It had yellow and bright orange in it and they looked so beautiful together. I decided to take the colours from the beak and do a matte look with them, and I added some shimmery purple underneath the eye for fun. I did go out with this look, I was kind of nervous because it was SO bright but I received some compliments which felt kind of nice ha ha. Anyways I hope you like it! Here is the inspiration photo:

*tip: if you want to wear bright colors (especially mattes) but are worried they will look too 80's or tacky, pairing a sharp black eyeline with it will help keep the look modern. you can also try blending brights with some matte browns in the crease in order to avoid having bright colors high up in your crease :)

Hi everyone,
here is a simple aqua look that I did - I wanted to make the colour wearable for a day out with my sister. I bought Makeup Forever no. 93 eyeshadow a few weeks ago but I wondered how I would wear it. I decided to try this look mixed with a few other products to make it simple and not too '80's' [in a bad way, ha ha]. I paired it with thicker winged liner, nothing underneath my eye, and pink cheeks and lips:

Makeup Forever Aqua Cream no. 4 Snow (eyelid)
Makeup Forever no. 93 e/s (lid, blended up into crease)
Urban Decay Absalom e/s from Alice in Wonderland palette [I believe it's Graffiti e/s from the permanent line] (lightly on top of lid only)
MAC Vanilla e/s (tear duct, lightly to highlight underneath brow)
Urban Decay Perversion liquid liner

MAC Tickle Me Pink cream color base (cheeks)

MAC Lovelorn lipstick (I LOVE THIS LIPSTICK, IT FEELS LIKE A BALM. And you can never slap too much of it on!)
